Great Britain (2016) Five Pound P.394 CFU - Winston Churchill #1603
Issued on 13th September 2016 this five pound is the first polymer banknote for the Bank of England.
Designed to be safer and stronger the new five pound features a portrait of former English Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill Westminster and the Elizabeth Tower from the South Bank looking across Westminster Bridge. One of the security features of this note is a see-through window. The border of the window changes from purple to green when the note is tilted and features a gold and silver foil of Elizabeth Tower.
