2013 Land Down Under - History/Captain Cook 1oz Silver

This coin is the third in a Land Down Under series issued by the Perth Mint, showcasing Australia's iconic landmarks, ancient culture, unique discovery and enviable lifestyle. Captain Cook is known as the 18th century navigator and pioneer whose achievements in mapping the Pacific, New Zealand and Australia radically changed western perceptions of world geography.
With a limit of 5,000 coloured proofs, each coin is housed encapsulated, in a latex display case formed in the shape of Australia, protected by a themed cardboard shipper and accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity.
