$10 2000 Sydney Paralympics Silver 10oz Proof
The proof 2000 ten ounce Sydney Paralympics $10 silver coin was housed encapsulated in a jarrah presentation box designed to raise the coin for display when the lid is opened. The reverse depicts the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House surrounded by seven of the Paralympic sports venues. Recessed into the case below the coin is an individually numbered plaque attesting to the restricted mintage of 3000 coins.
The inside surface of the lid displays the logos of both the Royal Australian (Canberra) and Perth Mints who were jointly responsible for striking the coins in the Sydney 2000 Paralympic coin program.
