Little is known about the undated token coinage used in Australian Internment Camps during World War I. The largest Internment Camp in Australia was established near Liverpool (Holsworthy) south-west of Sydney NSW between 1914-1918. The camp held around 5000 internees most were either from the Austro-Hungarian Empire and staff of German Companies.
