According to the lunar calendar, the Year of the Horse occurs between 17 February 2026 and 5 February 2027. In Chinese astrology, the horse symbolizes freedom, adventure, and a strong sense of self. Babies born during this time are said to be blessed with the horse’s independence, charisma, and love of adventure. They tend to be quick thinkers, sociable, and passionate about pursuing their goals, sometimes charging ahead with bold enthusiasm. With their vibrant personalities and magnetic charm, Horse-year babies are said to bring a lively spark to any family.
The coin’s reverse portrays a coloured representation of a happy young horse resting on grass adorned with delicate flowers and a dragonfly fluttering above. The Chinese character for ‘horse’, the inscription ‘YEAR OF THE HORSE’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark are also incorporated in the design. The coin’s weight, fineness, monetary denomination and 2026 year-date can be found on the coin’s obverse alongside Jody Clark’s effigy of His Majesty King Charles III.

EQL Launches/New Releases. The regular Flat fee ($9.95) does not apply to EQL Launches. Shipping charges for EQL new releases will differ and this rate will be advised at the time of entry.

Free Express Upgrade: Domestic Australian orders over the value of $1000 will automatically upgrade to Express Post at no additional expense.

Returns/Refund/Cancellations
Wynyard Coin Centre will attempt to exchange (if available) or provide a refund for any items delivered damaged or unsatisfactory when returned in original, undamaged condition with all product components as supplied within 14 days of receipt.
Cancelled items/orders for customer change of mind or return without major problem (in original condition) will be refunded less postage charges and any merchant fees (PayPal 2.6%, VISA/Mastercard, Shop Pay, Apple Pay & Google Pay 1.6% + $0.30) associated with accepting the original payment within 28 days of purchase.
